SAFEDROP is an easy way to send documents securely over the internet. Every document you send with Safedrop is protected with SSL Security. It cannot be snooped, copied, modified or stored in transit.

Proof of Delivery: Read Receipts, whenever a SafeDrop is collected, we'll send you a 'Read Receipt' containing non repudiable proof that this file was delivered to your recipient at what time this happened

For Corporates: If you'd like your own SafeDrop, get in touch. We provide an API, and can archive all transmissions to meet regulatory requirements. Transmissions from your system to your clients can be fully automated

About Security

Safedrop is a simple, but highly secure delivery system.

When sending a message, there are three things we can set that affect the security of the message:

Password: this is a verbal password, which will need to be delivered [preferably by telephone] to the recipient.
Mobile No: the recipient’s mobile number – the server will automatically send a logon token to this number. With this option, you do not need a password to access the document.
Availability: this details how long the document will be held on the server. After this time the document and all associated details will be automatically deleted from the system – whether it has been read or not.

The most secure way of sending a message is to set a short availability time, and to call the recipient with a good passphrase.

Transmissions to and from the Safedrop server are protected by SSL.
